Thank you to Roy and Beckie Schwisow for providing our sand table with sand! The kids love it!
Please send another round of snacks for 22 kids. If you send something that needs refrigerated I do have a SMALL refrigerator. Thank you!
We didn’t do our CHIPS program on Oct. 3rd because their computer was down. We will do it as soon as they reschedule us!
I’m still working on the slideshows to put on my website! I’ll let your children know when I get them completed so you can watch them online.
Things we’ve done the past few weeks:
Show and tell
Finished our Colors book
Made a rectangle picture
20 and 30 page for our Zero book

Made Johnny Appleseed hats and learned about him
Found the star in an apple
Measured and weighed apples
Made a class “Apples on Top” book
Had an apples taste test-red and green were the favorites
Apple sewing cards
Apple patterning
Baked apple pies
Apple number book (help your child practice writing #’s 0-10)
Completed our Dot marker number book

Made Fall trees
Many more apple activities!!
The next few weeks we will be continuing our Fall activities. We will discuss Columbus Day, Fire Safety, Pumpkins, Families, and do some Halloween activities. We will start our handwriting series and practice writing numbers, counting objects and more patterning.
The sight words our reading series has introduced are: I, like, am, to, we, & see. We emphasized the letter A this week but are also working on all of the letters of the alphabet. Please help your child learn the letters in their name first and then add one or two more until they get all 26. Thanks!
Thank you to everyone who came to parent/teacher conferences. I enjoyed talking with all of you about your children. Please let me know when you have questions or concerns. Thanks!
