Speical Education teacher

Introduction

I have been a teacher in the Special Education Department since 1985. First being a para at the MIddle School and then after getting an endorsement in Special Education started teaching in the Self-Contained classroom. I was transferred to the High School and designed the program for the 18-21 year old student that have met their high school credits but have the option of staying in school.

Staff's Education

I graduated from Western High School. I attended Fairbury Junior College, University of Nebraska and Doane.

Classes taught:

I had previous taught at the Middle School and then was transferred to the High School to develop a program for the 18-21 year old students. This program is called CHOICE and is located at the SCC college campus. I help prepare these students develop skills so that they can transition from school to the work world.
