INTRODUCTION

I began teaching English courses at Beatrice High School in the 2006/07 school year. From 1998 to 2005, I taught at Cypress Falls High School in a suburb of Houston, TX. At Cypress Falls, I taught both freshmen and junior english courses, including both honors and on-level courses. My husband and I moved our family to Beatrice to escape the overcrowded city and high crime rate. My husband Michael Fakler has started his own architectural firm here in town, and I have hit the ground running here at Beatrice High School. Both of our daughters attend school in Beatrice Public Schools and have adapted very well.
