EVENTS & ACTIVITIES 

FINAL EXAMS STARTED this a.m.

 

MEETINGS /DEADLINE: 

Students that have outstanding detentions need to have them served by tomorrow morning or they will lose open campus lunch privileges during finals.

 

FINES & FEES are posted.  Please take care of these before expecting open campus on Thursday.  If your name is on the list for being negative in the cafeteria, please remember to deposit enough before Thursday morning to get you through the week, breakfast and lunch.    FOOTBALL PLAYERS are reminded that your game day suppers are charged from this account, so if you ran out of money fast or owe more than usual, football is possibly the reason.  

 

NHS Students: Your hour sheets are due by the end of today.  See Mr. Post if you have questions.

 

LIMITED EDITION:  Bus leaves at 11:45 a.m.  ALL WILL EAT “C” LUNCH INSTEAD of at our normal time.

NHS STUDENTS:  There is a one day community blood-drive on Thursday, December 27.  We will need students to sign up for getting the posters hung at the businesses by this Friday and students to unload in the morning of the drive and re-load in the evening after the drive.  Please see Mr. Post to sign up before leaving for Christmas Vacation.  This will be a great way to start your next set of hours.

 

SCIENCE CLUB:  Please contact Mrs. Christen or Mrs. Moore if you can help deliver poinsettias to the nursing homes this week. We need your help! We can make arrangements as to times you are available. Thank you. Mrs. Christen and Mrs. Moore

 

World Language club members we will be doing the gift basket this week.  Stop in Señora Matsln's room and sign up to bring things.   We will need it by Thursday to take to the Salvation Army.   Thanks. 

 

ART CLUB:  meeting directly after the last final on Thursday.  Make arrangements to be there.  (Dungan)

 

SPEECH TEAM: it’s not too late to join.  See Mr. Ankrom for a script. 

 

P.E. and ATHLETIC LOCKERS & LOCKER ROOM:  Please remember to empty your lockers and leave them open when you are done with them this week.  They will be disinfected over the moratorium Dec. 22 – 26.

 

FYI:  The HOLIDAY TOURNEY at GI Northwest HS on December 28 and 29thwill have our boys playing Central Catholic at 6:00 with the girls game also against Central Catholic to follow at 7:45.  Win or lose, Championship or consolation games will be played the next day, boys at 2:45 with the girls earlier at 1:00.

Dakota Wesleyan University will host a Scholarship Day on February 17, 2008.  More information available at www.dwu.edu/scholarship

 

The University of Nebraska-Omaha uses an on-line scholarship application at www.ses.unomaha.edu/finaid  Applications must be filed by February 1, 2008.
