BMS School Wellness Recognition

On April 15th, Beatrice Middle School was recognized for achieving a Silver Level award for their efforts on school wellness. The Action for Healthy Kids organization held their annual conference in Lincoln and provided break-out sessions for both adults and students. This has been an on-going effort by our school to focus on students’ health, nutrition and physical activity in our school. Student representatives, Holly Irmer, Hunter Zarybnicky, and Cassie Thornburg attended the conference along with Mrs. Randel and Mr. Kraus
