EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

GOLF:  RCC at Beatrice CC, starting at 9:30 a.m.

TENNIS:  hosting Waverly, V & JV at 2:00,  dismiss at 1:30 to depart at 1:45 (Note change in times)

ORCHESTRA CONCERT:  Hevelone Center at 7:00

 

MEETINGS /DEADLINES: 

ORANGE & BLACK:   athletes, band members, cheer, dance and flag squads may pick up their complimentary ticket from the main office.    Tickets for friends and family members are available in the main office for $8.00 each.  Banquet is Saturday. 

 

SENIOR POST GRAD T-SHIRT SIGNATURE PAGE:  Today at noon the signature page is being picked up. (Luers/Stuart)

Congratulations to the Beatrice EV Racing team for 1st in  Manueverability, 1st in Braking, and 2nd Place Overall at the State  Championships on Saturday.  (Essink)

 

SCIENCE CLUB OFFICERS for 2008-2009 are President-Ross Jensby, Vice-President-Courtney Spilker, Secretary-Craighton Carey, Treasurer-Jacob Sorensen, Recruitment Officers-Cory Sugden and Rachel Dorn. Congratulations. Members: You will be receiving a note today about the meeting and summer contact information. Be sure and get this done! (Christen and Moore)

 

STUDENT COUNCIL:  elections for next year will be over lunch on Wednesday.

 

WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB:  Sign up sheet for bringing food on Wednesday is in Senora Matson’s Rm.   

 

YRI SIGN-UP:  untill Wednesday, teams will be finalized then.  Softball and Baseball (Dodge)

 

Attention Girls and Boys Track and Field Athletes:  If you are not participating at Districts, you should turn in warm-ups to Coach Cerny on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday of this week.  Boys should also check in their uniforms to Coach Cerny.

 

SCHOOL-TO-CAREER: 

  1. Students who have not done so need to meet with Mr. Campbell to sign their 4th quarter training evaluation.
  2. Work Hour forms for last week are due to Mr. Campbell TODAY!
  3. Fourth Quarter Wage Forms are due to Mr. Campbell this Thursday.

 

BOYS SOCCER:  Gear turn in is Friday, May 9th after school, Seniors firs, working down to the Freshmen.  Uniforms must be cleaned and folded.  Bag should be wiped out. $50 fine if not turned in.  (Blackwell)

 

BART’S DETASSELING APPLICATIONS are available at the main office. 

 

Beatrice Public Schools Essential Behavior Skills Program:   This week we are stressingRESPONSIBILITY.  This week's skill is "BE PREPARED."

REMEMBER:  if you receive any last minute scholarship awards, see Mrs. Morris to get them listed and announced.

 

Student Services office has received information on flight instruction at the Beatrice airport.  If learning to fly an airplane is on your wish list, you might want to pick up a brochure.  It outlines the cost and the study obligations.
