BONUS Day at BMS
Counselors Visit Classrooms

BONUS Day is a Brilliant Opportunity to Nurture and
Understand Students. Mrs. Randel was in the 7th grade classrooms
recently and presented on multiple intelligences. Students took a
quiz that helped them determine how they are smart. They discussed
the 8 different intelligences and found that they have interests
and strengths in more than one area. The 8 intelligences are:
1. Body Smart (Bodily-Kinesthetic)
2. Music Smart (Musical/Rhythmic)
3. Word Smart (Linguistic)
4. Number/Reasoning Smart (Logical/Mathematical)
5. Picture/Visual Smart (Spatial Intelligence)
6. People Smart (Interpersonal Intelligence)
7. Self Smart (Intrapersonal Intelligence)
8. Nature Smart (Naturalist Intelligence)
Knowing what intelligence fits them best can motivate students and
help them understand that everyone is smart in their own
way.
