EVENTS & ACTIVITIES -
SCHOOL BOARD MEETING: tonight at 7:00 at the Adm. Building
WINTER Band & Choir CONCERT: tonight at 7:00 in the Hevelone Center
MEETINGS /DEADLINES:
HEALTH ACADEMY CLASSES: Periods 4 and 5 will be cancelled today, students are to report to their HS classroom.
TODAY DURING MENTOR - The band and choir kids (all of them) will be running their "mass choir/band" pieces during mentor today. Students are to go straight to the Hevelone Center on the 14th during mentor.
SPEECH MEETING: cancelled from Friday will be held tonight after school in Rm. 235. Both sponsors and treats will be available.
SCHOOL-TO-CAREER: Work Hour forms for last week and Wage forms for 2nd quarter are due to Mr. Campbell TODAY!

CONGRATULATIONS to Jesse Hinz on winning the Boystown Invitational Wrestling Championship and Spencer Trout on a fifth place finish.
WANTING A POINSETTIA, today is the last day we will be selling from 5 to 8 pm before the high school music concert. We have red, pink, white, burgundy, and various mixed red and white. They are $10 each.
STUDENT COUNCIL'S DOOR DECORATING CONTEST will be judged Tuesday, tomorrow. (Oltman)
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY students: If you want a t-shirt bring your $8 to Mr. Post by Wednesday, December 16. Also, your community service hour sheets will be due then.
ATTENTION SOPHOMORES and INTERESTED PEOPLE: There will NOT be a spaghetti feed fundraiser this Saturday. Something will be organized for next semester. If anyone has questions, please address them to Mr. Meyer.
COATS FOR KIDS: Intro to Human Resources/Services class is sponsoring a coat drive. Please bring gently used, clean coats of any size. Collection boxes are located in the main office, media center and Rm 125.
FINES & FEES will be posted 8th period today: these will need to be collected before you will be rewarded with OPEN CAMPUS during finals. Please check to see if you are on the fines & fee lists. Students with Library Overdue Notices should still go to the Library to be cleared, or you will remain on the list for fines also. CAFETERIA will be current as of Monday, but remember you might go negative sometime this week and be added to the list.
Beatrice Public Schools Essential Behavior Skills Program: This week we are stressingCARING. This week's skill is "MANAGE CONFLICT."
NO BACKPACKS in the cafeteria lines during lunch or breakfast.
NO FOOD outside the Commons Area, not even to take outside.
WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN and WELL: still the best way to combat the spread of germs.
