EVENTS & ACTIVITIES - none
MEETINGS /DEADLINES:
JUNIORS: Statewide Writing Assessment in the commons area during 3rd period. You have the same assigned seating as yesterday. Remember to bring a PEN to finish with. (Meyer/Post)
SCIENCE CLUB MEMBERS: If you want to go on the overnight zoo trip on March 15 & 16, you must turn in your deposit and form by end of today, February 10th to Dr. Christen or Mrs. Moore. We will not accept late forms. If you need a form, see Dr. Christen or Mrs. Moore.
TRACK & FIELD: 1. Any athlete interested in participating in track and field, please attend the meeting tonight after school in the library. Coach Mahoney
2. If you are interested in attending the Doane College "Learn by Doing" All-Event Track Clinic on Sunday, February 28th - - see Coach Cerny for a registration form. Let's be ready to get the season off to a roaring start!

GIRLS SOCCER : SHORT meeting 3:30 Friday in Room 110 if planning to play this spring. (Carrel)
BOYS SOCCER: Please pick up, fill out and return boys soccer survey by Friday, from the main office. (Wells) If you want to order shoes, meet Mrs. Blackwell after school tonight at 3:30 in Rm. 133.
KEY CLUB: stop by Mrs. Fakler's room to sign up to help with Drumline this weekend, will count for 2 volunteer events.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: Mr. Post has new NHS activities for you to sign up for.
SENIOR YEARBOOK INFO: 1. If you wish to use your Senior picture you must turn in your head and shoulders shot either printed or on disc with your name so they can be properly identified and returned. DEADLINE is March 15. Students not meeting this deadline will have their school picture used instead.
2. Senior Salute in the back of this years’ Homesteader: deadline is also March 15. Salutes often consist of a “now” and a “then” photo and a short message to the graduate. Letters went home in the mail giving the family the specifics. REMEMBER: BOTH OF THESE HAVE MARCH 15 DEADLINES.
STU CO – DATA MATCH: starting today Stu Co will be selling the results of the data match questionnaires in the commons area during lunch. $2.00 gets a printout that matches you with member of your own grade, $3.00 gets both printouts matching you with all the students in the high school. ASLO, Stu Co is sponsoring a loose change drive for Haiti disaster relief efforts. Please bring your coins to school to donate! Jars will be on the data match tables.
Still not too late to JOIN THE CIRCUS!: if you are 14 years of age or older you may apply to work at the Shrine Circus over spring intercession (March 17 – 21) selling Sno Cones or Cotton Candy. Applications in the main office.
JOB OPPORTUNITY: a paid internship opportunity is available to students at the Beatrice Chamber of Commerce and Gage County Tourism. The internship will last until June 1st. Interested students should contact Mr. Spangler at the Chamber of Commerce, 223-2338.
