2011 Teacher of Year
“2011 Nebraska Teacher of the Year applications are now available through the Nebraska Department of Education”.
The program serves to recognize the contributions of the classroom teacher. Candidates must be:
Exceptionally dedicated.
Knowledgeable/skilled teachers.
Respected/admired by parents, colleagues and students.
Active in the community.
Active in the school.
Poised, articulate and energetic.
Persons of superior ability who inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn.
Each candidate personally completes the application form. Self-nominations are welcome.
