THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A homer a day will boost my pay. – Josh Gibson, catcher in American Negro Baseball Leagues 1930’s – leagues’ greatest home run hitter.
CONGRATULATIONS to Preston Oltman and Andrew Benson for medalling and placing third in doubles. Beatrice as a team finished 7th out of 8.
SOFTBALL: Placed 1st in their pool at the LPS invite, victorious over Linc. SE- 4-2, Norris 7-6 and North Plate 9-2.
EVENTS & ACTIVITIES -
SOFTBALL: triangular @ Southern. Varsity - 5:30 vs Norris, 7:00 vs Southern JV – 4:00 vs Norris, 5:30 vs Southern dismiss at 2:15 to depart at 2:30.
JV FOOTBALL: intersquad scrimmage at 6:30 in the Athletic Park.
MEETINGS /DEADLINES:
KEY CLUB: meeting after school 3:40 p.m. in the Media Center. Key Club members must pay dues EACH YEAR of membership, so new members, as well as previous members must attend if they want to participate this year. For more information, see Mrs. Fakler in Rm. 212.
FCCLA OFFICER APPLICATIONS due today - turn them in to Mrs. W. Meyer.
GIRLS GOLF TEAM MEMBERS: please stop in the office for Golf week rewards today.
SCHOOL-TO-CAREER: Students may enter Work Hours for last week into their Google Account and share with Mr. Campbell NO LATER THAN TUESDAY.

STUDENT MANAGERS NEEDED FOR VOLLEYBALL: If anyone is interested, please see Ms. Carper. NEEDS a manager for the 9th grade team, the JV and Varsity, and a scorekeeper for the 9th grade games.
SCHOOL PICTURES will be tomorrow. Get your packet from your Mentor. Purchasing is optional, but everyone must have their picture taken for office purposes. If purchasing, bring your envelope and money with you to the photographers tomorrow in the Hevelone Center.
