Be There Campaign
August 04, 2009
Beatrice Public Schools will again be participating in the national
Be There campaign
sponsored by the Nebraska State School board Association and other
advocacy groups. The purpose of the campaign is to remind parents
to be available to their children and to listen to their children’s
concerns. It means taking advantage of daily opportunities to build
relationships, use teachable moments, and make memories.
During the school year materials will be available to parents.
You’ll be seeing posters in each building, hearing radio and
television public service announcements and hopefully begin seeing
billboard messages across the state.
The national Be
There web site has been totally revamped. It contains much
useful information including a place for parents to ask questions
and to share comments with one another. When you have time, explore
www.bethere.org. (Please Note:
External Pages are not Endorsed by Beatrice Public Schools).
I think you’ll be pleased with the usefulness of the
information you find there.
