Spelling - Spelling words were sent home on Friday. Please study them. The test will be on Friday, September 10. Here are your words for this week: at, can, cat, back, dad, am, bat, mad, ran, sack, the, and, of.

Math - We are starting our unit on addition. We will begin with using objects and drawing objects to help us add. Do simple math facts with your child in the car with sums up to 6.

Reading - We are starting our reading series this week. It is called Reading Streets. Be looking for your child's password to get on the web site and read/print the stories with your child that they are reading at school. You can also read other books that go with the series for the week. I also added some science stories that the kids may like. They are with our science series and talk about living and nonliving. Let me know if you have any questions about the web site.
