CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SPECIAL TOPICS CLASS (Caelan Adams, Stephan Lagree, Lindsey Schlake, Dustin Trauernicht, Nathaniel Knobel, Ross Jensby, Justin Kyser, and Hillary Fischer) for a stellar performance on Saturday. Lindsey, Stephan, Ross and Hillary advanced to the second round. Stephan received a bronze medal. Ross and Hillary received Gold medals and advance to State competition in April. Dr. Christen
REMINDER TO SPRING SPORTS ATHLETES: Please do not park in staff parking lot for early morning practices. Many of our staff get here early and are finding their parking spot being used by students. (Randel)
BOYS STATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT: Congratulations to the Boys Basketball Team for qualifying for the State Tournament. Their first game will be Thursday at 8:45pm at the Pershing Auditorium against Lincoln Pius. Students are encouraged to attend and support the team. All students will be expected to be in class on time for the start of their schedule on Friday morning. With a win Thursday, they will play Friday at 3:45pm at the Devaney Center. If students wish to leave school early to attend, they will be expected to provide parent permission in the form of a note or phone call prior to Friday. Admission prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students. No Pre-Sales. Fans are reminded that artificial noisemakers will NOT be allowed and spectators are expected to stay off the playing floor at all times.
POST PROM SIGN UP: Wednesday, March 10th is the deadline to order post-prom t-shirts. Please see Mrs. Lineweber in the front office.
CHORAL MUSIC AUDITIONS are currently taking place for next year's Concert Choir, Women's Choir, and Limited Edition choral ensembles. Sign up for a 5 minute audition time on Mr. Meyer's office door in the choir room (22). No preparation needed. Auditions will be over on April 1.
SCIENCE CLUB OFFICERS SELF-NOMINATIONS FOR 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR. Write an essay about why you would make a good officer and why you want to be an officer. Give to Dr. Christen or Mrs. Moore by March 24th to be included on the April meeting ballot.
JUNIOR STUDENTS IN KEY CLUB can earn activity points by helping with prom. Please see Mrs. Fakler in room 212.
Beatrice Public Schools Essential Behavior Skills Program: This week we are stressingRESPONSIBILITY. This week's skill is "ACCEPT CONSEQUENCES."
HANDBOOKS: Students need to carry their handbooks with them anytime they leave the classroom. $2 to replace.
NO BACKPACKS in the cafeteria lines during lunch or breakfast.
NO FOOD outside the Commons Area.
WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN and WELL: still our best way to combat the spread of germs.

Interested in the medical field but need to know what’s available. Bryan LGH College of Health Sciences is offering a Medical Careers Exploration Camp this summer. More information available in the Student Services office.
Are you interested in attending a service academy like West Point or the Air Force Academy? There will be a meeting Saturday, March 27 for students and parents in Lincoln for more information. Contact your counselor or see the poster in the hallway.
