EVENTS & ACTIVITIES :
BOYS STATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT: 8:45pm at the Pershing Auditorium (19th & K Strs) vs Lincoln Pius. All students will be expected to be in class on time for the start of their schedule on Friday morning. $7 for adults and $5 for students. Fans are reminded that artificial noisemakers will NOT be allowed and spectators are expected to stay off the playing floor at all times. (Randel)
With a win tonight, boys will play Friday at 3:45pm at the Devaney Center. If students wish to leave school early to attend, they will be expected to provide parent permission in the form of a note or phone call prior to Friday.
MEETINGS /DEADLINES:
BASEBALL: back at the adm gym, Jr’s & Sr’s at 5:00 – 5:30, Frosh & Soph’s at 5:30 – 6:00. (Bruhn)
SCHOOL-TO-CAREER: Green Wage Forms for 3rd quarter are due to Mr. Campbell TODAY! Students are reminded they must sign their employer evaluation. (Campbell)

SENIOR PICTURE in the YEARBOOK: If you wish to use your professional Senior picture you must turn in your head and shoulders shot either printed or on disc. Students not meeting this MONDAY, MARCH 15 deadline will have their school picture used instead. Only 26 seniors have changed out their picture so far. Let’s get on this please!
STUDENT COUNCIL members wanting a t-shirt need to get their money in to Mrs. Oltman ASAP. Cost is $8.00.
GIRLS GOLF: Any girls – Freshmen thru Juniors – who are planning to participate in golf next fall, please meet in the commons at 3:40 Monday, march 15 for a short meeting. Anyone out for a spring sport, please stop by and give me your name before going to practice. Entire meeting should be done in 20 minutes. (D. Hoffman)
SCIENCE CLUB OFFICERS SELF-NOMINATIONS FOR 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR. Write an essay about why you would make a good officer and why you want to be an officer. Give to Dr. Christen or Mrs. Moore by March 24th to be included on the April meeting ballot.
ANY KEY CLUB MEMBERS interested in working concessions at the Health Fair on the morning of March 27th should see Mrs. Fakler to sign up. Few volunteer opportunities remain before the end of the school year. If you've not fulfilled your Key Club requirement, this would be a good opportunity.
Beatrice Public Schools Essential Behavior Skills Program: This week we are stressingRESPONSIBILITY. This week's skill is "ACCEPT CONSEQUENCES."

There will be a representative here fromBryan/LGH School of Nursing today. If you are interested in visiting with this representative, please stop by Student Services and leave your name.
Brandt/Ralph Roszell Scholarship has been changed to be a one-time scholarship of $1,000 and will now be available to a student furthering his/her education in a Nebraska two or four year school. Preference will be given to Southeast Community College students. With March 15 deadline scholarships.
ENGLISH DEPARTMENT would like to remind graduating seniors that applications for the Mark Metcalf Writing Achievement Award are due by April 1st. Application details can be found on the school website as well as student services. (Fakler)
