SOFTBALL: hosting Friend (2009 Class C State Softball Champions) at Hannibal Fields, 5:00 JV, V @ 6:30.
TENNIS: vs Linc. Christian at 4:00 at Nebr. Tennis Center in Abbot Park on 70th street, dismiss at 2:30 to depart at 2:45.
MEETINGS /DEADLINES:
KEY CLUB OFFICER'S meeting: after school today in Mrs. Fakler's room 212
ORGANIZATIONAL MEETINGS for:
DRAMA CLUB: tonight after school in the Hevelone Center for Performing Arts. (Hubka)
KEY CLUB: meeting MONDAY either before school 7:45 a.m. or after school 3:40 p.m. in the Media Center. Key Club members must pay dues EACH YEAR of membership, so new members, as well as previous members must attend if they want to participate this year. For more information, see Mrs. Fakler in Rm. 212.

STUDENTS: Remember to get your packet of forms received the first day of school, into Student Services this week. TOMORROW is the deadline. Only about 100 still needed. (Sutter)
STUDENT MANAGERS NEEDED FOR VOLLEYBALL: If anyone is interested, please see Ms. Carper. NEEDS a manager for the 9th grade team, the JV and Varsity, and a scorekeeper for the 9th grade games.
SCHOOL PICTURES will be next Tuesday, August 31. Get your packet from your Mentor. Purchasing is optional, but everyone must have their picture taken for office purposes. If purchasing, bring your envelope and money with you to the photographers on Tuesday in the Hevelone Center.

FRIDAY IS OUR FIRST HOME FOOTBALL GAME: Student Activity Cards are $25 for all school year, and must be purchased at the HS office. All students without a student activity card will be required to pay regular admission at each event for $3. High school students are expected to watch the game in the area between the orange lines below the press box. Students may stand, but only on the concrete, not on the seats. Students are expected to exhibit appropriate conduct and language at all times. We encourage all students to attend the game and support the Orangemen.
PLEASE KEEP THE FRONT HALLWAYS CLEAR– MOVE INTO THE COMMONS – before school and stay in the commons during lunch time.
TIDY UP AFTER YOURSELVES – dispose of your garbage and push in your chairs.
WEIGHT ROOM is open after school Monday – Thursday. (Edwards)

Attention students interested in any health career (doctor, nurse, physical therapist, laboratory technologist, etc.)!!! The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha is hosting a Rural Health Career Day on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. If you are interested, please let Mr. Cerney know asap. Students that were in Anatomy and Physiology last year or have taken the Health Career Academy at SCC should contact Mr. Cerny if interested in attending. Limit is 10 students.
