BHS Announcements for Monday, October 2, 2017

Intro to Human Sciences collected over 250 pieces of hygiene products to donate to the school closet, located in the library. Items collected were soaps, shampoo/conditioner, tooth brushes & toothpaste, deodorant, and body sprays.  Thank you to everybody for donating.   (Intro to Humans Sciences class & Ms. Walters)

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES:  

BOYS RCC TENNIS:  Koch Tennis Center in Omaha, all day
RESERVE VOLLEYBALL:  hosting triangular with Southern and Wilber-Clatonia, starts at 6:00.
JV FOOTBALL:  at Waverly for a 6:30 kickoff.

 

MEETINGS / DEADLINES:

ART CLUB meeting after school today in Rm 24 at 3:45 p.m.

Science Club October Meeting is this Wednesday, October 4, during mentor in the Ozone. (Dr. Christen)
 

SENIORS:  graduation products packets in the office for you to pick up.   The representative will return to take your orders Wednesday, October 4.   UNDERCLASSMEN:  if you are interested in class rings, please pick up a catalog from the office.   You can be sized on Wednesday, October 4

 

Pink Out this Thursday, October 5th. Wear your best and brightest pink to school that day for another class competition - check in at the front door.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS, CLASSES & DEADLINES:    Additional INFO in Student Services Office. 

SENIORS-- Wednesday, October 4th, report to the commons area after 1st period.  Bus assignments are posted all around school so please check to see which bus you are assigned to on Wednesday, go to your bus group in the commons, and then we will load the bus for SCC-Beatrice.

 

JUNIORS and SENIORS wanting to attend the Manufacturing Days Thursday the 5th, please get permission forms from your counselors and turn them in by end of the day Monday for lunch count.   

 

If you are a HAL student and would like to attend a Computer Science hands-on technology workshop on Wednesday, November 1 at Milford, with Mr. Ankrom and Mrs. Oltman, see Mr. Ankrom for information.  There are 2 seats left. 

SOPHOMORES & JUNIORS:  If you rank in the upper half of your class you may wish to take the PSAT exam on Wednesday, October 11.  This is a preliminary SAT test and qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship program.  Contact the Student Services office to sign up and pay the $15 fee.  Space is limited so don’t delay, see a school counselor if you have questions.  Deadline is October 6.
