EVENTS & ACTIVITIES:  none – PLC Early Out

 

MEETINGS / DEADLINES:

Science Club October Meeting is this Wednesday, October 4, during mentor in the Ozone.  (Dr. Christen)

STUDENT COUNCIL:  if not in the science meeting, please come to the Library during mentor after announcements.  (Oltman)
 

Pink Out this Thursday, October 5th.  Wear your best and brightest pink to school THURSDAY for another class competition - check in at the front door.

 

RE-TAKES:  are a week from today, October 11.  If you know now that you want to be included in re-takes, please contact Mrs. Cullison to get an appointment time set up.  We have forms in the office for those of you who missed the original date and wish to purchase during re-takes.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS, CLASSES & DEADLINES:    Additional INFO in Student Services Office. 

There will be a representative here from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on Thursday.  If you would like to visit with this representative, please stop by Student Services and leave your name. 

 

Students wanting to take the Accuplacer (2 year college placement) test here at BHS on Thursday, October 26, please sign up in Student Services....we have 10 spots left.

If you are a HAL student and would like to attend a Computer Science hands-on technology workshop on Wednesday, November 1 at Milford, see Mr. Ankrom for information.  We have 1 seat left. 

SOPHOMORES & JUNIORS:  If you rank in the upper half of your class you may wish to take the PSAT exam on Wednesday, October 11.  This is a preliminary SAT test and qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship program.  Contact the Student Services office to sign up and pay the $15 fee.  Space is limited so don’t delay, see a school counselor if you have questions.  Deadline is October 6.
