MEETINGS / DEADLINES:
Wednesday, Nov. 1 during Mentor period:
ALL BHS juniors, American Government, Business Law and Career Academy Law Enforcement students will meet during mentor after announcements in the Hevelone Center. Details and expectations of the Supreme Court FRIDAY will be reviewed. (Sutter)
SCIENCE CLUB Meeting: November monthly meeting will be during mentor after announcements in the Ozone. This is a mandatory meeting as we only meet once per month. Please attend. (Dr. Christen)
POWERLIFTING Meeting during Mentor after announcements in the weight room for students interested in Powerlifting this year. (Meyer)
SWIMMERS & DIVERS: TODAY IS THE LAST DAY to get your team suit ordered, only need your name, grade and suit size. You may pay when they arrive. Check in with Mrs. Cullison in the main office.
Winter Sports Required Parent Meeting will be held Monday, November 6, at BHS Hevelone Center. There will be a general meeting at 6:00pm (parents must attend one of these general meetings annually), followed by sport-specific meetings at 6:30pm. This meeting is for parents of students who plan to participate this winter in basketball, wrestling, or swimming/diving. (Randel)
SCHOLARSHIPS, CLASSES & DEADLINES: Additional INFO in Student Services Office.
Students wanting to take a SENCAP Career Academy class, please have your registration papers in for SCC by November 6. See your counselor if you have questions or are interested in registering.
Students interested in taking the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) military/career exam, please sign up in the student services office by November 13.
Students interested in attending the SCC Lincoln Discovery Days college visit must turn in their permission forms to Mrs. Prososki by Friday, November 10.

If you are interested in a good-paying, part-time position at BLAST, pick up an application to work from the Administration Building at 320 North 5th. Applications are also available online at http://beatricefoundation.com/ There are BLAST locations at Lincoln, Paddock Lane, and Stoddard Elementaries. You must be 18 to apply. Hours are 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and on Wednesday from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. when BPS is in session. Please call Doris Martin at402-223-1539 for more information.
