ACTIVITY ELIGIBILITY GRADE REPORTING:   students (and instructors) are reminded assignments, projects and tests need to be turned in or made up by 3:45, this afternoon, to be graded and posted before Monday, November 13, for activity eligibility reporting

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES:   TODAY - Veteran’s Day Program 

Reminder - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday bell schedule

One-Act Play Production:  at Elkhorn South for a 4:45 presentation.  (Brumond)


FCA – Operation Christmas Child Service Project - will be collecting toys and monitory donations from 4th period classes (mentor)., through Friday, November 17.  These donations fill shoe boxes for needy children all over the world who may never have received a gift in their entire life.  Your 4th period teacher will have a list of items that can go in the shoe box.  Prizes will be awarded for the classes with the most donations. November 15 is America Recycles Day.  Please take the pledge that Mrs. Oltman emailed out to you last week.  Show the commitment that you will help our world stay clean and that you will live a "green" life. (Cerny)


QUIZ BOWL:  if you are interested in competing in a quiz bowl match in February, please see Mr. Ankrom, Rm. 235. 


SCHOLARSHIPS, CLASSES & DEADLINES:    Additional INFO in Student Services Office. 

Students interested in taking the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) military/career exam, please sign up in the student services office by Monday, November 13, test is on Wednesday, November 15. 


As hunting season has starting, students and staff are reminded to not bring any weapons onto the Beatrice High School campus.  Doing so would be a violation of our BHS Code of Conduct and school district expectations.  Consequences are outlined in the Code of Conduct for such a violation.  Again, please think through what is in your vehicle as you come to school.
