Congratulations to our sophomore students Hannah Kassmeier and Veronica Pinkerton who were selected to represent BHS at leadership camps next summer. Hannah will attend the Nebraska Leadership Seminar camp and Veronica will attend the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership camp.  Congratulations ladies!



Science Club members:  Dr. Christen just received word that the poinsettias will not arrive until 4 pm this afternoonShe will need at least a dozen members to stay and help unload the poinsettias into the safety of the greenhouse, as it is so cold, pickup will not be until Thursday.  Please sign up to stay and help with this.  Sign up sheet is outside Rm. 204 and includes the fruit delivery on Wednesday also.  (Dr. Christen)


SPEECH TEAM:  If you are interested in competing in this Friday's speech meet at Lincoln High and you are not in Miss Brummond's speech class, see Mr. Ankrom.


BASEBALL PLAYERS:  Tomorrow Chris Belding, Baseball Coach, would like to meet with all prospective baseball players at 2:20pm in Rm 133.  (Randel)


SCHOLARSHIPS, CLASSES & DEADLINES:    Additional INFO in Student Services Office. 

Video contest for students in grades 9-12 are encouraged to enter a two minute video exploring the importance and value of ethanol, focusing on renewable fuels.  Deadline is January 31, 2018.  First place is $1,000, second place $600, third place $400.  Information at:  ethanol.nebraska.gov
