Congratulations for taking first place in the 100 girls backstroke to Freshman Maya Moran at the double dual vs So. Sioux City and Om. Skutt. Personal Best times were recorded by: Matilda Saunders, Silas Jurgens and Blaine Kujath in their 50 free, Morgan McCubbin her 500 free, Ellie Lenners her 100 free and Nicholas Witulski his 100 back. Girls beat So. Sioux 78 – 16, but lost to Om. Skutt 38-56. Boys lost to SSC 43-50 and to Skutt 18-76. Final home action will be Tues. the 6th vs the co-op team of Brownell Talbot, Concordia, Mercy and Roncalli, diving at 4:00 swimming to follow.
CLASS COMPETITIONS: class with the fewest members on the Friday "F" (No-Release) list.

BOYS BASKETBALL: hosting Skutt Catholic, JV at 5:30 and V at 7:00

BEATRICE SPEECH INVITE: All day, Community welcome, No admission charges.
HOOPLA: Chamber of Commerce Youth Basketball in both gyms all day.
RCC WRESTLING: starts at 9:00 a.m. at Ralston
SWIMMING: at Elkhorn Invite starting at 10:00 a.m.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: at Gross Catholic, JV at 4:00, V at 5:45.

SPEECH: Practice tonight until finished in Rm 235. (Ankrom)
COMPUTER CLUB: If you have an interest in computers, coding and networking join us after school in Rm 110 with Mick next Tuesday, February 6, to hear about BHS’s new computer club.
1. Today, Feb. 2 - Show Choirs and Jazz Band trip to Central City, load at 8:15 and depart at 8:30.
2. Monday, Feb. 5 - "Dinner and a Show…. Choir" event. Beatrice Fine Arts Boosters Chili and Cinnamon Roll Feed from 5:45-7:45 followed by the concert of BPS Show Choirs: BMS’s Delegation at 8:00 pm., First Edition at 8:20 p.m. and Limited Edition at 8:40 p.m.
3. Tuesday, Feb. 6 - River Cities Conference Honor Music ensembles at Ralston all day.
ALSO, MARK YOUR CALENDAR: BHS will be hosting Wrestling Districts NEXT Friday & Saturday, February 9 & 10. Due to this, students will be released at 12:30 on Friday the 9th. The classroom schedule has been sent to your school email addresses. If you did not receive this, please let Mrs. Cullison know.
