Congrats to the BHS Show Choirs and Jazz Band on another good showing at Lincoln Northeast this weekend. Limited Edition earned 3rd Runner Up overall, with Tina Rowe earning Outstanding Female Soloist of the Day. First Edition earned Outstanding Costumes Award for the Day. Good luck everyone at your final contest of the season this Saturday at Westward Jubilation at Sloan IA. First Edition performs at 8:25 and Limited Edition at 11:40. (Meyer)
Congratulations to BHS for hosting the Class B Powerlifting this Saturday and to the Boys for placing Runner-Up with 36 points. Setting a new BHS School Record was Dakota Adams with a 545# Dead Lift, Cheyenne Jurgena with a 110 Bench and Sydney Weirich with a 245 Squat. Dakota also to 1st place in the 198# Class with a 1210 total. Corey Rzekonski placed 1st in the 220# Class with a 1205 total. David Duncan and Christian Borzekofski placed 1 and 2 in the 275# Class. Xavier Smith and Trip Corneilus placed 1 and 3 in the HWT Class. Scoring for our girls was Sidney Weirich with a 5th place finish and 735 total.
CONGRATULATIONS to the Girls Basketball team for their excellent performances Thursday & Friday last week.
