BHS Announcements for January 21, 2020
Bulletin for 01-21-20
An idiom is a combination of words that has a figurative meaning, due to its common usage, idioms are not to be taken literally. Today’s idiom: blind as a bat - The assumption that bats are blind due to their meandering flight pattern later developed as an idiom. Today it's used in the context of someone who has terrible eyesight or to someone who can’t see or recognize even an obvious problem or bad thing.
