I teach 7th grade math at Beatrice Middle School. I am starting my 21st year of teaching. I grew up in Kearney, Nebraska, the youngest of 5 kids. In 1983, I graduated from Kearney High, and then went to the University of Nebraska where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle School Education. I received my Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Doane College in 2005. My husband Bob and I have been married for seventeen years. We have two boys. Jacob is 13 years old and is in seventh grade this year. Luke is 7 years old and is ready for second grade. We live near the huge metropolis of Clatonia, population 275. I enjoy sports (especially my Packers and Huskers), cooking, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
