BEATRICE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

Welcome!

Guaranteeing the very best education to every student in Beatrice Public Schools isn’t just a slogan…to us, it’s a challenge worth meeting.  Extraordinary education is not the result of ordinary effort!

The Beatrice Educational Foundation, established in 1987, has a mission to invest in students at every grade level.   The Foundation’s goal is to encourage and sustain activities which improve and enhance educational opportunities for all present and future students in our school system.  We embrace this philosophy,   because our community values education and understands that success in an ever-changing world requires more knowledge and greater skills than ever before.

The Beatrice Educational  Foundation Fulfills its Mission with a Variety of Efforts:

*Awarding over $55,000 each year in a variety of scholarships to graduating seniors

*Managing the Scholarship Endowment Fund

*Identifying needs and developing strategic projects that will initiate and strengthen

*Maintaining and updating an extensive database of alumni. academic and vocational programs, technology education, arts and

*Providing reunion assistance, athletics, professional growth of staff/employees, and facilities/equipment.

*Sending out the annual newsletter to keep alumni informed about fellow classmates and Foundation activities.

To annually highlight the legacy of quality education found in Beatrice schools, the Foundation recognizes outstanding past graduates with Hall of Fame awards presented to leaders of industry, education, arts and athletics who have made a significant lifetime contributions to their fields.   With an award called “The Friend of Education Award”, the Foundation also honors past teachers, administrators, employees and citizens who may or may not have graduated from Beatrice Public Schools, but have made a major contribution to education in the district.

Much of what the Foundation does is possible because of the generous tax exempt contributions from our donors.   Thank you, donors! Our continuing success is dependent upon your financial support; therefore, we are eager to work with donors who wish to establish or enhance programs through one-time gifts, annual pledges, lifetime gifts or legacy gifts.

To help continue the proud tradition of educational excellence in our school system and to establish a gifting program, please contact any one of the Foundation trustees for additional information or send your contribution to the following address:
