Beatrice Middle School celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 20 through October 23.  Red Ribbon Week, which brings awareness to the dangers of drug use,  is recognized across the nation the last week of October every year.

We raised awareness by having different dress up days for the week. For example, one day was "Boot Drugs to the Curb" and students wore boots.  Another day was "Crazy About Saying No to Drugs", and students wore crazy outfits.  Students also participated in an "Are you smarter than the rest of the school" trivia contest.  We also celebrated by planting red tulips in the front yard of Beatrice Middle School.  We had about 30 students help us plant 100 red tulips that will bloom in the Spring in honor of Red Ribbon Week.
