Sun Mart Cash Register Receipts Update:
Our total for Sun Mart receipts is $64,584.84 of our second goal of $150,000.00! As we attain the goal, Sun Mart will send the PTO $1,000 to be used in our school so keep sending those Sun Mart receipts to school! We take all receipts no matter how large or small as each dollar helps!
Please Help us. . .
Please help us to keep information involving your child current. If you have moved, changed telephone numbers, changed work or made changes that could effect how we get in touch with you, please let our office know.
Make-up Work
If your child is absent from school and you want to pick up homework that he/she has missed that day, the homework will not be available until 3:30 that school day. It is also helpful if you call in advance so that we know you will be coming to pick it up.
Student Absence Procedure
If your child is ill, has a medical appointment, or is gone for personal reasons, PLEASE call the school office and let us know. Unexcused or unresolved absences may lead to academic probation if the student’s schoolwork begins to fall behind.
If your child goes to a medical or dental appointment during the school day it is best to get an excuse slip from that medical/dental office for your student’s file. That slip will be documentation to support the excused absence.
Please Take Note. . .
The fourth and fifth grade students at Lincoln Elementary School are preparing to present the musical: “Go Galileo”. This musical, written by Mark Burrows, motivates students and audiences alike to celebrate science and scientists! The program will be presented on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Beatrice High School Hevelone Center at 7:00 pm! Please join us for this fun and uplifting event!
Dear Students, Parents and Staff:
Mrs. Janssen’s 4th grade class would like to thank all who helped us raise money for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. With the “Change for Haiti” donations and the hot cocoa sales we were able to raise a total of $528.12 for the American Red Cross. This was much more than we ever expected.
Thank you also to our parents for their donations of cocoa mix and cups. We appreciate your help and support.
-- Mrs. Janssen’s 4th Grade Class
