SAVE SUN-MART RECEIPTS
Our totals keep growing! It is $33,274.65 of our $150,000 goal. When we reach that goal, Sun-Mart will give our PTO $1,000 to be used in our school. We are working towards our third goal so keep saving! Take all receipts to school, no matter how large or small. Each penny counts!
Arriving in the morning. . .
We have several students arriving too early each morning. Those students that are eating breakfast at school should not arrive before 8:00 am each morning. The doors are locked until 8:00 am so students cannot enter until that time.
Students that are not eating breakfast should not arrive before 8:20 am. There is no adult supervision outside until 8:20 am.
Many unwanted situations arise when children are unsupervised outside. This can be easily prevented by having children arrive no earlier than 8:20 am or 8:00 am if eating breakfast at school.
New Immunization Clinic Hours
Beatrice Immunization Clinic has new days and hours to better meet the needs of Gage County. The clinic hours are every Monday, 12-4 PM, every Tuesday 3-7 PM, every Thursday, 12-4 PM. People needing this service are to call 402-228-8513 to make an appointment
Student Absence Procedure
If your child is ill, has a medical appointment, or is gone for personal reasons, PLEASE call the school office and let us know. Unexcused or unresolved absences may lead to academic probation if the student’s schoolwork begins to fall behind.
If your child goes to a medical or dental appointment during the school day it is best to get an excuse slip from that medical/dental office for your student’s file. That slip will be documentation to support the excused absence.
Take Note!!

Benefit for Damon Swarthout
Lincoln Elementary alumni Damon Swarthout, who is 13, has been diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive form of cancer.
A benefit for Damon is being held on Saturday, December 17 at Risky’s Bar & Grill from 5-7 pm. There will be a soup supper and silent auction with proceeds to go to the Swarthout family.
Damon’s younger brother, Eean, is a student here at Lincoln Elementary. Please help us to support this family in their time of need.
Happy Holidays!
