Jim Appleget

Jon is a 1955 graduate fo BHS. Mr. Appleget taught in Fremont Senior High School for 38 years and served as the track and cross country coach. As the cross country coach, he won 2 state championships, 2 runner-up finishes, 10 district and 5 conference championships. He founded Fremont Track Club in 1968 and was inducted into the Nebrska High School Hall of Fame in 1998. Fremont Public Schools named its Track & Field Facility as Appleget Field in his honor
