You will need to follow these simple steps in order to have a successful year in math:
1.) Be safe

3.) Be responsible
You will need to bring the following EVERY day:

1.) All homework needs to be done in pencil. No pen please!
2.) We check assignments together in class. We check in pen.
3.) Please have a proper heading on all homework assignments.
Example: Johnny Shimmers
period 2
page 35 #1-21
4.) I do accept late work, but not after the unit test has been given.
5.) SHOW YOUR WORK! You may get to redo your assignment if you don't!
6.) Write your assignments in your ASSIGNMENT BOOK every day!
7.) Homework not done? See ya for 9th hour!
I HAVE TO PAY MY TAXES...YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
My goal is to update grades on the parent portal at the end of each week. Sometimes we don't have enough grades for this to happen (i.e. at the beginning of a new semester), so if there is ever any concern about a grade, feel free to call me. I encourage you and your child to check out their grade periodically so you can keep track of how they are doing. We will check grades weekly in mentor.
Please check out our textbooks website!! It has numerous resources to help students. Anything from test review to extra practice. Just go to my.hrw.com and log in!
