Community Meeting Survey Results
Patrons were asked to complete a brief survey at the end of the community meeting on July 6th. A total of 92 surveys were turned in. The results of the survey are below.
- Do you believe that the District needs to do something with the existing elementary facilities?
- Yes (79) = 95.2%
- No (4) = 4.8%
- Option 1: Build a single site PK-5 elementary building with a bond issue total cost of 36.3 million
- For (54) = 65.9%
- Against (26) = 31.7%
- Other (2) = 2.4%
- Option 2: Build a new central site K-5 elementary building and renovate one of the existing elementary buildings for preschool with a bond issue total cost of 33.1 million.
- For (33) = 51.6%
- Against (30) = 46.9%
- Other (1) = 1.6%
- Option 3A: Make Cedar Elementary a preschool building and Paddock Lane Elementary a three section K-5 building as long as no bond issue was required.
- For (18) = 26.5%
- Against (46) = 67.6%
- Other (4) = 5.9%
- Option 3B: Make Cedar Elementary a preschool Building and Paddock Lane Elementary a three section K-5 building with a bond issue to renovate all four (4) buildings for a total cost of 17.65 million.

- Against (49) = 75.4%
- Other (3) = 4.6%
- Option 3C: Make Cedar Elementary a preschool building and Paddock Lane Elementary a three section K-5 building with a bond issue to renovate and add to Paddock Lane Elementary and renovate the other three buildings for a total cost of 30 million.
