The 2020 Homecoming King and Queen candidates are (in no particular order):

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES:
BOYS TENNIS: Varsity York Invite, all day.
JV hosts Nebr. City at Hannibal Courts for a 4:00 dual, NO early release.
GIRLS GOLF: JV’s at Humboldt for an all-day tourney at Kirkman’s Lakeview Golf Course.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Hosting Fairbury, Reserve game cancelled, JV’s at 6:00, V to follow at 7:00.
RESERVES FOOTBALL: to Seward for a 6:30 kickoff.
MEETINGS / DEADLINES:
LAST SPRING’S STUDENT ATHLETES: Last spring, if you were out for Track, Golf, Tennis or Soccer, when Covid shut us down, you probably have Booster Club memorabilia &/or Certificates of Participation that you need to pick up from the main office. Please do so today. (Bruhn)

SCHOLARSHIPS, CLASSES & DEADLINES: Additional INFO in Student Services Office.
REMEMBER: FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES will not attend school TOMORROW.
SENIORS & JUNIORS: please know TODAY which room to report to tomorrow morning before 8:15. Please get a good night’s sleep and eat a breakfast at home. We will offer a snack between tests, but NO breakfast this year.
Homecoming Week is fast approaching (begins Monday, Sept 28). Order your 2020 Homecoming T-Shirts or Sweatshirts by next Thursday, September 24. The mission of Beatrice High School is to guarantee all students will meet or exceed their individual academic goals and exhibit responsible citizenship.
Beatrice High School Improvement Goals
During the 2020-2021 school year, 60% of BHS juniors will receive a score of seven (7) or higher on the ACT writing assessment.
By utilizing individual goal setting and tracking progress, BHS will work to improve student MAP assessment scores; with 70% of BHS students at grade level or higher at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
