Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Tennis team for their 2nd place finish at the rescheduled York Invite yesterday. #1 Doubles (C. Dittbrenner/C. Freitag) tied for 1st place while our #2 Double team (T.Dittbrenner/M. Meyer) took 1st place. C. Kelley played #1 Singles, while C. Saathoff played #2. Well Done Boys Tennis.
EVENTS & ACTIVITIES:
GIRLS GOLF: vs Norris at Pioneers Golf Course for a 4:00 start.
CROSS COUNTRY: vs Crete at Doane College for a 4:30 start. Will leave after testing at 2:00.
SOFTBALL: hosting Ralston at Hannibal Fields. JV at 5:00, V at 6:30.
MEETINGS / DEADLINES:
LAST SPRING’S STUDENT ATHLETES: Last spring, if you were out for Track, Golf, Tennis or Soccer, when Covid shut us down, you probably have Booster Club memorabilia &/or Certificates of Participation that you need to pick up from the main office. Please do so today. (Bruhn)

Homecoming Week is fast approaching (begins Monday, Sept 28). Order your 2020 Homecoming T-Shirts or Sweatshirts by next Thursday, September 24. The mission of Beatrice High School is to guarantee all students will meet or exceed their individual academic goals and exhibit responsible citizenship.
Beatrice High School Improvement Goals
During the 2020-2021 school year, 60% of BHS juniors will receive a score of seven (7) or higher on the ACT writing assessment.
By utilizing individual goal setting and tracking progress, BHS will work to improve student MAP assessment scores; with 70% of BHS students at grade level or higher at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
