Jackson Weeks

Coach  Jackson Weeks is entering his 12th year of coaching and brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the game. He began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Doane University for two seasons before spending the next five seasons as an assistant coach at Auburn High School. Most recently, he has served as the co-head coach at Auburn High School alongside his father, longtime Beatrice coach Jim Weeks. As an assistant coach, Coach  Weeks was the head JV coach and played a crucial role in leading the Bulldogs to three consecutive state championships in 2019, 2020, and 2021 and six consecutive state final appearances (3 as an assistant and 3 as co-head coach). During this period, the Bulldogs achieved a remarkable 67-game winning streak, which stands as the third-longest in Nebraska state history.  Over the past four years as co-head coach, Coach Weeks has continued to build on this success, helping guide the Bulldogs to three state runner-up finishes, four consecutive 20 +-win seasons, and an overall record of 93-17.

A 2012 graduate of Beatrice High School, Coach Weeks comes from a strong basketball lineage, between his father Jim Weeks and his brother Jalen Weeks who’s currently serving as the head coach of the Beatrice Lady O basketball team.

Off the court, Coach Weeks recently got engaged to his fiancée, Emily Rohrer, and they are set to be married this fall.  Coach Weeks credits the opportunity at Beatrice to all the former and current players, administration, coaches, and community of Auburn.  “I want to thank the administration at Beatrice for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to lead the boys’ basketball team at my alma mater and the place where I fell in love with the game of basketball”
“I am beyond excited for the opportunity to be a part of a great community in Beatrice and look forward to building upon the success of a great program with excellent tradition.”
