Lovitt is a former Beatrice Public Schools student and volleyball player. Lovitt is a 2021 Graduate of Diller Odell High School where she won 2 state volleyball titles. Lovitt played collegiate volleyball at Hastings College and was selected as a captain. Lovitt will graduate from Peru State College with a degree in early elementary education and will be teaching at Beatrice Elementary School.
Lovitt has many years of experience playing and coaching club volleyball, as well as running several youth volleyball summer camps and leagues. She currently coaches the Beatrice Middle School club team. Lovitt is excited and eager to begin her new role. Her goals for the program consist of sharing the love of volleyball, being competitive while still having fun, building a bond, improving relationships with each other, and establishing a strong culture.
