Pioneer Day Adventures!

We were able to visit Filley Stone Barn and the Homestead National Monument for Pioneer Day! We learned all about harvesting corn in the old days, making corn husk dolls, candle dipping, quilting, and spinning.

ELA

We are finishing up our 3rd unit and have enjoyed Poetry and learning the different kinds of poems.

Math

We have been working on division and multiplication word problems.

Test-Taking Strategies

We are also beginning to work harder on test-taking strategies as Winter testing is right around the corner!

Science

We are excited to have the Hospital as a partner in learning for our Human Body unit, working with the muscles, eyes, the brain, and information processing.

Social Studies

We finished working on Native Americans and the 3 branches of government.

Our 4th Graders are making the most of every opportunity! ♡
